Change Factors
In the preceding blog, September and October, 2023, I identified a number of ideas and thoughts, such as the aspect of loss, release, natural change, working with change, the apparent conflict of change, etc. The subject of change is as change is, itself: In other words, change is constant in the material world.
The course of change has inherent contradictions; and as such, so is life, filled with contradictions, and contradictions are part of life. In this discourse, I will pause from the organizational aspect of conscious change. As I mentioned, change exists outside our total realm of control. Part of the conscious change is adjusting our lives to accept and work with the changes beyond our control.
When one reaches a place of balance, change can be recognized in the manner that one is able to act or not act on a change. Change can come in the way of challenge(s) or chances. Change is inherent in everything. So what is stable, what is constant, and what can one rely upon in a world in continual flux? The main source of what is constant should be you! The one constant in everything is oneself and understanding the source and the effect of change is key in navigating one’s way either through certainty or uncertainty.
Shifting the focus, now, and away from an individuated change which is purposeful to outer forces of change, external changes creates forces of uncertainty, even chaos; and this tests our prowess and self-stamina. Change that comes from what may seem from nowhere can test the very core of one’s metal. The unexpected can be very distressing and stressful to those who do not do well outside of what is comfortable or even safe, and in uncertain instances.
In these times, humanity is moving through great world upheaval and change. It is in these uncertain times, change can test our faith at all levels of our existence; be it physical or spiritual. One of the components of change is a sense of balance in maintaining spiritual strength and fortitude. At its best, faith is a positive force that exists in the realm of certainty in the invisible power that transcends the material.
In the upcoming blogs, I will delve into associated areas of change and exploratory ideas; namely, how time and space is an intrinsic part of life’s reality.
