Change & Spirituality

Spirituality in this modern era of technology seems to have no place in the 21st century.  Given all the innovation and improved living standards in these modern times, the more material progress, people are more drained stressed out. Religion alone cannot answer all the questions and meaning around modern life and how it relates to spirituality.

The awakening to the reality of existence is beyond the body and mind. Time is but a gateway.  As we move in time we move through limitation (particularly the limitation of human life on Earth) to the unlimited. Connecting with one’s spirit is actually merging into one’s consciousness. When one seeks to connect with this consciousness it is called spirituality.

All life has a spirit, so there is no need to think one is or is not of spirit. The desire to know the meaning of one’s existence, this consciousness, is called spirituality. Understanding spirituality necessarily comes through reverence of all life which expands one’s individual existence. Through introspection and inner vision, we attempt to come closer to knowing ourselves. Meditation is one of the main methods of spiritual practice. There are many levels of contemplation. As one moves through time change, quiet contemplation and mediation can help to put things into perspective and meaning.

Understanding change in the material world and the unchanging reality of the consciousness is necessary and very helpful. Change and experiencing change in all its many aspects of life often leads one to explore the meaning and the source of life. This section is dedicated to discussions/conversations on change and spirituality.  More and more people are seeking answers to the mysteries of this Universe, Life and Spirituality. Of course, this section will focus on the subject of change but will be open to exploration of other areas that either directly or indirectly relate to change and how it affects the spiritual side of life and living.
