You are your best example!
I have shared some small personal examples but the truth is that no example can match your own experiences. No one can escape change in this universe. In fact, a lot of people regardless of age have gone through multiple changes; whether that is small or great; positive or negative.
Many changes have led and will lead to unchartered areas of unknown experiences, and very often uncomfortable areas in life. Often times, there is no compass to point the way to navigate through difficult times. The hardest change is when the world that we know suddenly alters in an instant. Drastic change creates major life upheavals that have ripple effects that pushes us out onto a path of either renewal or destruction.
In terms of renewal, if we closely observe our lives in nature itself, there are parallels: That is, in nature itself we can define our own stages of evolution; and evolution is the very spirit of change. Personally, I am of the mindset that everything points to evolution, whereby devolution is only a subset to bring the full process of transformation into being. In other words, we take ten steps backward to make a quantum leap once the path is clear. In evolution at all levels of existence there is transformation. (We can later explore this idea in these blogs).
We experience cycles of change, as the Earth itself. As the Earth goes through its seasonal cycles so do we. Out of all the seasons I would say spring is the most celebrated and exalted season because spring marks the return of the sun and its light; it’s an explosion of life, rebirth and light. The earth’s winter slumber quietly and gradually bursts into a renewal of life. All our senses become piqued with all the sensory delight of spring.
Our lives and our time in life can be divided into the various seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter).Whatever season you are in life, take time to immerse yourself in the present and quietly observe your current stage in this moment. If you are in a personal good space, be grateful and honour the changes that brought you to this moment in time. To those who are not in the best personal time, know that all things are subject to change and that all things alter in time. We cannot all be in our ideal situations at all times; and know, that “this too shall pass”. Seek to find the constant mind-set that sustains you. In a world of finite problems there are infinite solutions.
Possibilities are immense and each person is a possibility in and of themselves. This has to be discovered by each one of us; for Time is the father of change and Space is its mother.
Change in a poetic framework has its own essence in its power and mystery in its movement in Creation. It’s an invisible force that is in constant motion in and through time and space.
April (March and April) is a new year month for many cultures and in the ancient calendar systems. I wish all renewed strength with renewed purpose.
